Sockietalkies – The Only Sock with a Pulley
Sockietalkies began with love, hope, and a very personal inspiration — my oldest grandson, Coen. Born with cerebral palsy, Coen faced challenges from the very start, enduring three brain surgeries before he was even a month old. In those early days, I whispered to him daily,
“You are strong.”
As he grew, those words became “You are strong and capable.”
That simple message of encouragement became the heart of our very first design — a sock stitched with a growing tree, symbolizing resilience, independence, and strength. What started as words for Coen has grown into Sockietalkies: a way to inspire, empower, and uplift with every step.
Why a Pulley?
Children like Coen deserve every chance to feel independent, confident, and strong. That’s why we designed the world’s first patented pulley sock.
Each Sockietalkies pair comes with a small pulley loop at the top, making it easier for kids (and adults) with limited mobility to pull up their own socks. A simple design change that creates a big impact – independence, dignity, and the confidence to say, “I can do it myself.”
And there’s more — on the toe of every sock, you’ll find uplifting words of encouragement, so every step begins with hope and motivation.
Comfort Meets Purpose
We know kids’ clothing needs to keep up with everyday adventures, so every Sockietalkies pair is:
- Durable & Reinforced: Stress points are strengthened to prevent tears or fraying.
- Made to Last: Pulleys are carefully designed not to wear out with use.
- Soft & Comfy: Crafted from the finest materials for all-day comfort.
Sockietalkies aren’t just adaptive – they’re high-quality, cozy, and inspiring, made with love and care.
More Than Socks
Sockietalkies is part of BeedleBug, a company built on the belief that products should be uplifting, purposeful, and filled with love. We’ve donated hundreds of pairs to children at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, spreading messages of strength and independence where they’re needed most.
This is just the beginning. At BeedleBug, we’re committed to creating more products that bring hope, motivation, and joy to families everywhere.
Because life should be lived beautifully – with comfort, independence, and inspiration in every step.

Steps for teaching your child to put on the Beedlebug Socks as seen in PSN magazine
- Pick up the sock and look for the toe and heel parts of the sock.
- With the toe part facing away, slip thumbs into the opening at the top of the sock and through the thumb holes located on the side of the sock.
- Gently stretch the sides of the sock open using an outward pulling motion to reveal the sock opening.
- Insert the foot into the sock opening and pull upward to get socks on.
- Adjust the socks as needed to ensure the toe/heel portions are aligned.
